City of Ridgeland Begins Implementation of Master Plan Components

As the Ridgeland Area Master Plan development process continues, the City of Ridgeland has already begun the implementation of various components of the Plan. On January, 16, 2007, the Mayor and Board of Aldermen held a Public Hearing regarding C-4 Permitted and Conditional Uses. The Board of Aldermen unanimously approved an Ordinance Amendment making all uses Conditional except for “Professional Office”. The Purpose of the C-4 Classification was also amended to promote high aesthetic qualities throughout our City’s gateways and interstate corridor.
